What are some causes of pelvis inflammation?
Some other causes of a PID are abortions, miscarriages, or an endometrial biopsy procedure, according to the National Institutes of Health’s MedlinePlus. When bacteria enter the cervix through an activity, such as unprotected sex with an infected partner, it can spread to other female reproductive organs, including the ovaries, uterus and Fallopian tubes. Some symptoms of PID are bad cramp during the menstrual cycle, fevers, painful urination, chills, vaginal discharge and pelvic pain or tenderness. However, there may be no signs with a sexually transmitted infection, such as chlamydia.
